GenAmi was created in April 1997 by Micheline Gutmann, then administrator of the French Federation of Genealogy. She was encouraged by the president of the time who helped her draft the statutes of GenAmi. She received the assistance and advice of Valérie Gautier, currently Vice-President of the FFG, who was the first treasurer of our association for a year. That's why we wanted her to share this event with us. Jean-Louis Helbronner followed me and took over, he was our treasurer for twelve years, and he introduced his cousin Michel Goldschmidt. We are doubly grateful to him. We were seduced by the beauty of the Mansion of the Alumni Association of the School of Arts and Crafts, acquired in 1930, bought from the Singer family. An article by GenAmi 79 tells quite briefly the origin and the history of this family. So you were almost 50 (some were prevented by the Gare de Lyon work) and you enjoyed the splendor of our celebration. And we were glad to see you! With a thought to the absent ones who would have liked to join us! Friendly to all! < /p> |

L'énigme du Sefer Torah miniature
Following the death of his mother in Paris, the author finds in a cupboard, a small Sefer Torah
that he had never heard of. The ancient object appears precious. |
