A medal in honor of the Chief Rabbi KAPLAN

In honor of the Chief Rabbi Jacob Kaplan (1895 – 1994), a medal has been stamped by the Monnaie de Paris. The official presentation of this medal took place on 17 October 2006.

The next day, 18 October 2006, The Mayor of Paris a fait installed a plaque in memory of the Chief Rabbi Jacob Kaplan on the house where he born 21 rue des Ecouffes, Paris IVe, in presence of Daniel SHEK, Ambassador of Israël in France.
