Mācon Congress 5th May 2005

The FFG Presidents Day

This day was a great success: 110 associations, 87% of the members represented.

Our president Micheline Gutmann represented GenAmi and College D as their elected administrator.

In the morning the subject was mainly the question of the law on archive communication deadlines, ready for acceptance for the last 4 years but still lying in the ministers drawer waiting to be raised at the National Assembly. It seems that the notaries are putting on pressure and a motion was written to be sent to Matignon.

The genealogy open day has been set for 2nd October, it was a great success last year when it was held at our offices and we intend to do it again.
